What should I expect during my first appointment with Teresa?

 

Compassion and respect, first and foremost.

 

Teresa will also ask you many questions during the first meeting, to get a clear understanding of who you are, your concerns, your goals, and any challenges you may be facing. First appointments are up to 90 minutes.

To clearly set expectations, do not expect a comprehensive list of action items or a comprehensive meal plan from Teresa at your first appointment.

After your appointment, Teresa will create a custom and comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

 

 

What should I expect during my subsequent appointments with Teresa?

 

Clear direction, accountability, and support. These sessions last 50 minutes.

 

We'll focus on your treatment plan, your health goals, and your path to nourished wellness. These appointments include nutrition counseling, education, recommendations, goal setting, facing and overcoming challenges, etc.

 

You'll walk away from your appointments knowing exactly what you need to focus on between now and your next appointment.

 

 

What if I don't see my insurance company listed on the Insurance page?

 

If you don't see your insurance company listed, you can pay out-of-pocket, then submit an out-of-network claim to your insurance company and follow-up with it to see if the company is going to reimburse your out-of-pocket expenses.

 

 

What payment is expected at the appointment?

 

Using insurance from one of Teresa's contracted benefit providers, you will only need to pay your co-pay (if you have one) at the time of service. If you're not using insurance, cash (or debit / credit) payment is due at the time of service.
